Shipping address note: The shipping address for articles, product samples and products is provided only by email after prior coordination and within an agreed collaboration. Please do not send products to the legal notice address without prior agreement.
2. General information
We process personal data only where necessary for operating the website, handling enquiries, preparing or performing contracts, complying with legal obligations or protecting legitimate interests.
Depending on the processing activity, the legal bases are in particular Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR for consent, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries and pre-contractual steps, Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR for legal obligations and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for legitimate interests such as secure website operation and efficient communication.
3. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, technically necessary data may be processed, including IP address, date and time, requested page, transferred data volume, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and server status. This is necessary to deliver the website and keep it secure and stable. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Before launch: The concrete hosting provider and any processing agreement should be added here once the hosting setup is final.
4. Contact form, email and phone
If you contact us via form, email or phone, we process the information you provide, such as name, company, email, phone, website or Instagram profile, topic, budget range, timeline, product details and message. The data is used to check and answer your request, prepare offers and handle collaborations. After form submission, an automatic confirmation email may be sent.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual communication, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for efficient handling of enquiries and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR where statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Form spam protection
The form uses a hidden field as a simple spam protection. No external captcha service is used.
6. Instagram Reels and social media embeds
Instagram Reels may be embedded on this website. When these contents load, your browser connects to Instagram / Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Personal data such as IP address, browser and device information, visited page and interaction data may be processed. If you are logged into Instagram, Meta may associate the visit with your account.
External embeds may use cookies, pixels, local storage or similar technologies. Where consent is required, the processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25(1) TDDDG, and consent can be withdrawn with future effect.
Practical note: Because the current version embeds Reels directly, a consent banner or two-click solution should be checked before launch if Instagram sets or reads cookies or similar technologies.
7. External links and social profiles
Links to Instagram and Servus Mietstudio lead to external websites. The respective providers are responsible for data processing on those pages. If you interact with our social profiles, we may process public or submitted data to respond, moderate content or prepare collaborations.
7a. WhatsApp chat link
If you use the WhatsApp button, you will be redirected to WhatsApp. WhatsApp / Meta may process personal data such as your phone number, communication content, technical data and usage data. Using WhatsApp is voluntary. You can also contact us via contact form or email at any time.
The legal basis for our communication with you is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for pre-contractual or contractual requests and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for simple and efficient communication.
8. Recipients, third countries and retention
Personal data may be shared with technical providers supporting hosting, website operation, email communication or maintenance. External services such as Instagram/Meta may involve data transfers outside the EU/EEA. Data is stored only as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by law.
9. Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time with future effect. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes
We may update this privacy policy if our website, services or legal requirements change.

Own statistics and click tracking
After installation of the JR-Stories backend, this website can use its own server-side statistics system. It may process page views, clicked links, referrers, UTM parameters, device type, browser, language, time zone, timestamp and a rough country code.
The IP address is not stored permanently in plain text. It is only used to create an anonymised daily hash and, where technically available, to derive a rough country allocation. No personal advertising profiles are created and no external analytics provider receives the data through this own system.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is technical optimisation, measuring brand collaborations, evaluating Linktree clicks and improving our content. The retention period can be configured in the backend area; 90 to 180 days are recommended.
Julia Linktree, subscribe function and newsletter
If you subscribe via Julia’s Linktree, we process your email address, your consent, the time of subscription and confirmation, and an anonymised technical hash for proof of consent. The subscription uses double opt-in: after submitting the form, you receive an email with a confirmation link. Only after confirmation can we send you codes, promotions, recommendations or collaborations by email.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with future effect, for example through the unsubscribe link in each newsletter email or by emailing kooperation@jr-stories.com. After withdrawal or unsubscribe, your email address is marked as unsubscribed so that no further newsletters are sent.
